Today, the Former Governor General of Canada, Honourable David Johnston held an event on his new book called Empathy at the Algonquin College in Pembroke.
During the event, he gave a detailed talk on many of the topics covered in his book, including climate change, volunteerism, and hockey.
Mr. Johnston said the he is now working on new initiative which is helping young people in Canada to be successful in school.
Members from the Algonquin community including those from the military attended this event.
The event was broadcasted live on Zoom.
He was presented with gifts and commenced the signing of his new book.
